We are delighted to announce that from July 2003, we can offer you the chance to buy a CD-Rom of Foursight Theatre's acclaimed multi-artform installation piece Reans Girls at a cost of £8.50 (including p&p).

For those of you who didn't get chance to experience this piece of work first-hand, Reans Girls was a unique show for the company. It took place at the Newhampton Arts Centre and was a multimedia piece incorporating the use of video, sound, music, installation work and live performance. The piece was born out of the stories shared by the women of Whitmore Reans, Wolverhampton, who had settled in the area, having travelled here from all corners of the world. Extensive research was carried out amongst the local community and the resulting stories were moving, inspiring and truly thought-provoking - relating back to other cultures and experiences of world events. The quotes you see above are just a small sample of the audience reaction.

Professionally produced by the Arts Documentation Unit in Exeter, the CD-ROM offers an exclusive insight into how the work was developed, from creation to birth. It is intended to act as a documentation of the process used to produce Reans Girls and includes a video film of the complete performance, the script and interviews with key artists involved in the project discussing design, composition and direction.

It is Foursight's intention that the Reans Girls CD-ROM is used as a general resource for research/study in archives and educational establishments and as a way of sharing the work at arts conferences and other suitable forums. The CD also acts as an invaluable tool to promote a rich awareness of the history that goes to make up such a diverse cultural tapestry.

You may remember mention previously of Foursight's involvement with the BBC and the Open University in the making of a study video on Agamemnon back in 2001.

A CD-ROM of Medea (2001) has also been piloted by Cambridge University Press throughout the USA and the UK and this should go into full publication in the very near future.

With our forthcoming national tour of Hecuba in the autumn of 2004, Foursight aims to continue our association with Cambridge University Press through the making of a double CD-ROM of all 3 of the Greek tragedies which will be made available as study aids to 'A' level and undergraduate students of Drama and Classics both in the USA and UK.
