Originally created in 1993, the show has been enjoyed by over 8,000 people

During the sword fight in one performance, actress Jill Dowse who played
Queen Mary received a cut to the forehead - strangely, during the next night's
fight, Kate Hale who played Queen Elizabeth received a similar injury.
The costumes worn in the show originally came from the RSC. Since they have
been in Foursight's possession they have never been washed. We believe that
they have successfully obtained a period feel by absorbing 9,000 minutes
worth of sweat.
Bloody Mary and The Virgin Queen only played the first week at Edinburgh.
This is because the show was invited to perform in Canada at the prestigious
Edmonton 'Pick of the Fringe' festival, a showcase of the best plays from
the previous 10 years.
The show was haunted by the ghost of Catherine of Aragon
